Whether Obama or Romney, the Reset Is Dead

In an opinion editorial in The Moscow Times political analyst Georgy Bovt says that whether the incumbent Barack Obama or Republican candidate Mitt Romney wins the upcoming presidential election, the reset is dead. Regardless of which candidate wins, the reset is bound to either slowly die a natural death under Obama or be extinguished outright under Romney. As a result, the most we can likely expect from US-Russian relations in the next four years is cooperation on a limited range of mundane issues.
