Russia’s WTO entry: one year on, business is disappointed

A blog post in The Financial Times by Ben Aris, editor-in-chief of Business New Europe, writes that as the first anniversary of Russia joining the World Trade Organisation (WTO) approaches, many Russian businesses are starting to ask why the government bothered. The conclusion of several surveys and reports is that few Russian businesses report any economic benefits, while several important sectors are actually a lot worse off.
