Putin's Last Stand

In an article in Prospect Magazine, widow of former KGB officer Alexander Litivinenko, says that the recent presidential election victory of Vladimir Putin was expected, but it had nothing to do with democracy or free choice. And while Putin controls the government for now, he can no longer control people's minds. He may resort to repression, but this will not work. People will continue non-violent protests and civil disobedience until he goes; then he will face justice.
